If you are like me, part wanderer, then you are ready to get out and enjoy some sunshine, spring beauty, and stimulate those senses! The historical downtown Fayetteville Square is one of my favorite places in spring. Here are a few events to wander around…
This month First Thursday began and as always never ceases to provide a great cultural art experience for the whole family! First Thursday is a feast for each one of your senses…beautiful artwork and creations on exhibit, lovely sounds from local musicians, a good glass of wine or craft beer, wonderful scents wafting from crazy-good food vendors, and hands-on activities for the kids! Put it on your May calendar!
Dont forget every Tuesday, Thurday and Saturday is the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market on the Square. A great part of Fayetteville’s healthy lifestyle culture. The next best thing to your own home-grown garden with the best food shopping experience around!
For you beer connosueirs do not miss the experience of the Fayetteville Foamfest on May 9th at the Walton Art Center parking lot. Here’s your chance to try a lot of the local, regio nal and international beers along with a host of the best food truck vendors! This is a ticketed event so go on-line and get yours soon.
