My Arkansas grandmother had a big green thumb. She was a typical southern lady who insisted on fresh flowers and live plants decorating her home all year-round. So it’s not only my heritage but in my DNA. I also love fresh flowers and live plants in my home. No matter what neighborhood or community you live in NWArk you can find the finest of florals and beautiful botanicals to create that perfect look in your home. These make ordinary days special and special days magical. Here is a glimpse of some of my favorite shops that won’t disappoint!
1. With Walmart general offices in Bentonville and every vendor, both domestic and international, you can bet there better be a top-notch floral shop. You will find it serving the corporate community there with expertise and unique contemporary style at Bloom Floral and Gifts.
2. Springdale Country Gardens is all about community and customer service with an expert staff of designers. You can find them right in the midst of downtown life on Emma Street. With the many venue options in Springdale, you will have all your floral needs covered.
3. With 3 shops located in Rogers, Bentonville, and Pinnacle Promenade Station you have the convenience for pick-up or wide coverage on delivery at Shirley’s Flowers, Inc. From their Lavish Collection to the perfect Thank You flowers, you will find just what you need in award-winning designs. They have been serving Northwest Arkansas since 1975.
4. Bella Vista’s little village shop offers neighborly local service from The Pink Daisy. This will be the shop where they know your name. Hometown service and convenience. Sweet folks that will serve you well.
5. One of my most favorite shops started out in a little airstream trailer and grew to occupy a beautiful space just off Fayetteville’s downtown square. Pigment might bring visions of every color in the artist’s paint palette. It should because the beautiful designs from Pigmint really do belong in a museum. Such unique artistry is displayed in every arrangement. Pigment often has blooms that no other florist can get their hands on. An example might be peonies in January when we need to see signs of spring to make it through the cold weather. Rumor has it that they’re opening a second location in Rogers soon so be watching for a new store front there.
6. Continuing with another choice of really unique and fantastical designs, Flora is located on Mountain Street in Downtown Fayetteville. Custom designs are their specialty and their artistry is divine.
7. Last but not least is a wonderful little shop by Rick’s Bakery in Fayetteville. After you have chosen the perfect cake for your wedding or special occasion then you go right next door and order those just-perfect florals at Zuzu’s Petals and Gifts. Zip-zip and all done. Convenience can be very beautiful!
